In the spring of 2024, my sister, Chrissy Silverman, and I met with Elizabeth Burdette to discuss our personal family giving plans. When Elizabeth told us about the Bloom giving circle, we were immediately intrigued. Then, she added that Bloom’s partner organization that year was the Mothers Advocacy Project (MAP) and mentioned Chelsea Sabo, a longtime MAP supporter—and high-school friend of Chrissy's! We already loved everything about MAP and their work and were thrilled by this natural, mutual connection. It felt like fate. So, we decided to attend our first Bloom Gathering.
What a fantastic time! We left that event feeling deeply drawn to Bloom's purpose and community and inspired to find ways to make Bloom membership more convenient for, and connected to, women in our home neighborhoods north of Atlanta. We asked Elizabeth if she'd ever considered growing Bloom outside of the perimeter. Her answer, of course, was YES!
And that’s how Bloom grew its first Branch—Bloom North ATL! Chrissy and I are thrilled to extend the power of our giving circle into our local communities and to continue to grow the Bloom experience to give back to women and children across North Atlanta.

Welcome back! We kindly ask that you renew your Membership and Grantmaking Gifts each year to be eligible to nominate and vote for our partner organizations annually. Please update your information and make your gifts using the form below. And thank you!
New Members
Welcome in! To join, please complete the Membership form below and make your first Grantmaking Gift. (We encourage a gift of $1,000, but any amount is welcome. We also ask for a small Membership Gift to support Bloom’s programming.) As a Member, you’ll be eligible to nominate and vote for nonprofit organizations in our annual selection process, and attend a full year of Gatherings. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive an email from your Branch with more information on all things Bloom.
